Tibetan Prayer Bell

The prayer bell is used in meditation and ritual in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.
It can be rung, struck like a gong or made to ’sing’ by rubbing the outer rim with a striker or puja.
The bell is considered to represent the female aspect whilst the dorje represents the male aspect.
